Outline/About
Outline:The course has been organized to address not only the foundational elements of Seller Representation but also the practicalities of day-to-day operations. It covers the challenges agents face on a day-to-day basis with a particular focus on the practical side of seller agency. The focus includes the basics of agency responsibilities as well as some cutting approaches to enhance how the selling public should be represented. The course has been written in a logical manner and covers the Concepts of Agency Relationships, Generating Business, Preparing for the Listing Appointment, The Listing Appointment, Staging and Exposure, The Listing Agreement, The Listing Process, The Showing Process, Terms of the Offer, The Offer Presentation Process, Pre-Closing and Closing Issues. The ASR® designation will be awarded to a student upon the successful completion of the twelve (12) hour in-class ASR® course; certification of 10 closed sides of the transaction where the ASR® candidate has represented the seller (Note: the sales used to verify closed sides of the transaction must be from sales two years in the past, or two years forward from the date of completing the course.): and three (3) letters of favorable recommendation from past seller clients. Upon receipt of these items, the Seller Agency Council (SAC) will review these items for completion. Once reviewed and the information is verified, the designation will be deemed to have been earned. The designee will receive from SAC, an ASR® lapel pin, and an ASR® Designation Certificate. Included is the first year’s membership pre-paid in the Seller Agency Council (SAC). The ASR® candidate may remain a candidate indefinitely provided all renewal fees are paid. However, in the event the ASR® Candidate fails to meet the ASR® Designee within two years from completing the class, the ASR® Candidate must retake the course prior to be awarding the ASR® Designation. The current annual renewal fees for the ASR® Candidate or Designee is $99.
